  • Sales Consultants at Tenet Financial Group help aspiring entrepreneurs and business owners secure working capital to grow their businesses. Using a consultative approach, they educate clients on funding options to ensure informed decisions, then assist in securing the best fit.

    Key responsibilities include supporting existing clients, acquiring new ones, and fostering relationships with referral sources and industry influencers to drive business growth. Consultants must be professional, patient, resourceful, and skilled in explaining funding processes to clients unfamiliar with business capitalization.

    Success in this fast-paced role requires critical thinking, sound judgment, organizational skills, and a positive attitude.

    Essential Functions:

    • Represent the company’s vision, mission, and values.

    • Educate and consult on funding options, including debt and non-debt options, collateral, credit, and terms.

    • Manage the full sales cycle, from initial inquiry to onboarding and final installation.

    • Build trust-based relationships with Franchise Brokers, Franchisors, and referral sources.

  • The ideal candidate will be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, have excellent communication skills, and have a general understanding of processing loan requests with a background in SBA being preferred. The candidate should possess strong integrity and uphold themselves to the highest of ethical standards as they will be working with sensitive financial information provided by clients. A majority of the lending opportunities we process are within the franchise industry and a general understanding of franchise funding and the franchise industry is an added benefit to your application.

    Essential Functions:

    • Holding calls with potential clients to pre-qualify their funding request

    • Review general loan documentation as per SBA guidelines

    • Packaging of personal and loan application documents of the borrowers and submitting them to outside funding partners

    • Assisting clients with loan and application documents through calls and virtual consultations

    • Communicating with senior clients, senior consultants, and outside funding partners on loan files

    • Other projects and time-sensitive tasks, as needed, or requested by clients, staff, or funding partners

    Requirements:

    • Understanding of loan processing or SBA loan documentation

    • Strong problem-solving and processing skills with an attention to detail

    • Excellent written and communication skills

    • Ability to work independently and possess a strong work ethic

    • Outstanding organizational skills

    • Accountability and the ability to schedule and maintain a calendar of appointments, meetings, and deadlines

    • A self-starter with the ability to initiate follow-ups and complete tasks without oversight

    • 2+ years experience in bank/lending/loan processing preferred

    • Minimum educational requirement of Bachelor’s Degree or industry experience equivalent
